Conduction and transport is a ubiquitous concept in molecular systems. The purpose of this symposium is to bring together experts from different fields of molecular conductance, who encounter common questions in their research. The goal is to create an atmosphere where participants could benefit from the expertise of others who have worked on similar problems in different contexts. Contributions from all kinds of conductance and transport processes in molecules and materials are welcome, namely:

  • Ionic conductance in biological systems
  • Electric conductance in molecular electronics
  • Electric conduction in bio and nano materials
  • Proton transfer
  • Electron transfer
  • Vibrational energy and transfer and heat transport
  • Electromagnetic energy shuttling and molecular-scale optics

Invited speakers:
N. Agmon, M. Asscher, R. Baer, A. Ben-Shaul, V. Buch, W. Domcke,
R. Kosloff, B. Gerber, H. Grubmuller, D. Harries, R. D. Levine, G. Meijer,
